Drop into this functional yoga flow practice and/or workshop, bone up on your human movement skills and if you’re a teacher, learn ways to empower your students to live better in their bodies. 
Also, a great anatomy refresher to prepare for the OWY 300-hr TT coming May 2020!

  • Discover the Yoga in Your Anatomy - how studying anatomy is ultimately about connection and deepening that connection with yourself.

  • Explore principles of human physiology that apply to yoga poses

  • Learn how to speak anatomy - the universal language of all human movement - to elevate yoga’s healing properties without overwhelming your students.

  • We’ll explore the inner architecture of the body using a full skeleton, video, palpation, self massage, handouts and interactive exercises including current topics in hands-on assisting and consent.

  • Learn how the multiple layers of the body (muscles, joints, bones and fascias) function as a whole and learn to move in a more embodied way in your practice and life

  • Learn how your body is seeking harmony through the union of opposites at all times Learn how up-leveling anatomy, physiology & biomechanics knowledge has the potential to transform your teaching career!

    Bring your questions, personal limitations and student situations as we will allow for time during the program to make this workshop as practical as possible for the group’s participants.

Sandy’s Bio:
Sandy is a yoga teacher and movement specialist with 30+ years experience with certifications in yoga (E-RYT 500), fitness (ACSM) including advanced training in biomechanics, anatomy & corrective exercise.  Some of her inspiring clients include area sports teams (Cavs, Kent State Athletics, Cle. Hts HS) and many individuals who simply want to play the long game of life. With 20+ years of yoga teaching experience, one of her passions is to help working yoga teachers to elevate the healing power of yoga through developing more anatomically fluency.
